Participation in this Summit is open to representatives of national governments, local authorities, and other youth development Partners. This includes youth, children, women, government officials, non governmental organisations, community based organizations, human settlement professionals, research institutions and academic of science, the private business and non profit sectors, foundations, relevant United Nations and Commonwealth organizations and other international agencies.

Please note, this is an INVITATION-ONLY event for those involved in the delegate selection scheme, and that the Summit Secretariat will cover all costs connected to the participation of selected delegates. Please see section below on who should attend this event. Participants for this event are to be nominated by:

• their local  youth organisation , for participants outside the UK
• the Ministry of Youth or the Environment in the country
• selected and invited  by the Summit Secretariat

FEES and information.

This fee does not represent payment for your participation in the Summit, but a personal commit to cover travel costs for delegates who could not be supported by the Summit Secretariat.

Please note that there is a charge to those participating who are not part of the delegate selection scheme and that all costs will be covered by participants.

Costs for your participation in the Summit, namely the visit to the UK, will be covered by the individual participants. These costs include flights, visa, all UK travel, and accommodation and subsistence. This amount must be agreed by the participant before travelling to the Summit. Please contact the Summit Secretariat at: summit@youthclimate.org.uk, for more information. We strongly recommend that delegates secure funding in advance to cover their travel costs by contacting local youth groups, international organisations, government bodies, businesses United Nations and commonwealth networks or through fundraising events.

The Summit Secretariat will provide support to all delegates, including:

• a full professional and social programme
• welcome and farewell packs (containing a programme, contributors’ summaries, local information etc.)
• a group photograph
• an experienced event management team in attendance throughout
• support for visa application to all international delegates
